Blas has worked in the United States as a Network Engineer, Second Level Technical Support, and Project Manager for a Fortune 100 Multinational company before transferring to offices in Switzerland. Blas’ projects included replacement of LAN infrastructure, migration from Windows NT Servers and Workstations to Windows 2000, later moving the Workstations to Windows XP. He managed and dealt with Ghost technology. He has dealt with the complexity of cloning hardware systems across complex network architecture.

As a technical trouble shooter and systems engineer Blas was assigned to assist clients in identifying, managing and crafting change through Information Technology solutions. Blas worked with the San Francisco City Government and other departments, providing technical support, network administration, and network engineering. His two biggest projects involved designing their backup system and Virtual LAN (VLAN) configuration.

Blas has done a great deal of technical support, both in Switzerland, Germany, and San Francisco, California. He has worked on national projects, creating standards for an insurance company in NY, Denver, Anchorage, and San Francisco.

Blas’ other international projects include: Development of Windows 2000 Migration Guidelines, improvement of Wide Area Network for a multi-national food company, standards application, compliance and improvement. He is a Certified Novell Engineer (CNE), a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) for Windows NT and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) for Windows 2000.
