JOHNNY CONINE

Johnny Conine renders his expertise and his 21 years professional experience supporting the United States Navy network infrastructure. He assisted in research and development, installation, operation, maintenance and repair of submarine computers, data converters and electro-mechanical devices at the US Navy. 

Serving as computer / electronic technician for hte US Navy, he continuously meets and exceeds customer expectations in sales, maintenance, repair and operation of Computers and Semiconductor equipment by being innovative, positive, resourceful and a good communicator.  Utilization of several computer platforms and software applications in order to meet personal and company objectives.

Johnny's other professional experience includd, Installation Engineer position performing complete installations of CD SEM equipment for KLA - Tencor Corporation for customer’s sites around the world.  Primary responsibilities include installation, startup, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of equipment.  Secondary responsibilities include escalations, technical support and some regional training to help get site Engineers up to speed.

At Lam Research Corporation, holding Field Service Engineer position, he was responsible for the support of dry etch equipment manufactured by Lam Research Corporation, training of new personnel on location and working on escalated situations.  Primarily responsible for TCP platforms.  Duties include installation, startup, troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance and training on equipment located in the Austin, TX area.

At Wayne Division, Dresser Industries, he was responsible for the relocation and expansion of the Help Desk operations to provide phone support to customers and technicians on electronic, electro-mechanical and hydraulic equipment.  He utilized teamwork and continuous improvement techniques to meet or exceed customer and company objectives as well as become a profit center within 4 years. In addition, as collateral duties or projects, Johnny trained several departments on Quality Improvement processes and several technicians on troubleshooting and repairing Wayne equipment and OEM products.  Johnny was instrumental in the implementation of several major automation projects such as a paperless warranty payment and multimedia expert systems.

Other experience include: (1) Field Support Technician -  Lead Technician, New Product Support, instrumental in the introduction of new products by providing training, field support and 2nd level phone support of products beginning with their development cycle.  Field responsibilities included support of Beta sites, field test sites, tradeshows and customer laboratories involving our electronic, electro-mechanical and hydraulic products. (2) Computer Technician,  Valcom Computer Center, responsible for the startup and administration of a service department for personal computers and peripherals.  Involved in the configuration, installation, training and support of personal computers and peripherals.
